This recording is a tribute to the great Billy Strayhorn, the writing partner of Duke Ellington. A few of the songs have never been recorded by a vocalist before such as Oo (You Make Me Tingle) which was written for Lena Horne, but never recorded. Also the new lyrics to Chelsea Bridge by Pohatin Bradby have never been recorded before.
